14k Vermeil is gold plating over solid Sterling silver. Looks and feels the same as solid gold but will eventually lose bright gold color (will last a very long time if taken care of properly). The benefit to Solid Sterling Gold Vermeil is that it’s a precious metal and feels heavier than the stainless steel. Also shines a bit more. The benefit to stainless is the longevity and durability of the plating process. If you want to wear in water choose stainless!!! If you want all precious metals choose 14KGP.
